It has features NO OTHER Transmission Case has. Our C11A is like an early 1936-64 style C8, but WITH the ears outboard bearing support) of a 65-79. This combination of Early and Late, provide a secure alignment of the Transmission with easy adjustment. The early style cast in track lugs, on the bottom of the case, enable this Tranny case to withstand the side torque loads, which tend to loosen the mounting studs and crack the case. This is the strongest transmission case made for 4 speed ratchet top or any other 4 or 5 speed. This case is much heavier than the OEM, reinforced like a supercharger, and shot peened inside and out. We have also left in place the chain adjusting screw boss for your special applications.
