C30 is for the 1965 to 1969 generator engines. This heavy duty casting replaces OEM and takes all OEM components except for the special locking washers (included), for the three engine 5/16 bolts and an angle fitting (excluded) which is sometimes required for frame clearance on the back for the oil return from the chain case. All of our chain cases are far stronger than any other, and with our CNC machinery, easier to assemble. C30EP is like the C30, but it is machined to fit directly onto a 1995 to 1964 left engine case. This feature allows the bolt on conversion of a pan head generator engine to electric start. It was developed to use Rivera Engineering electric pan front belt drive. There are no provisions for a chain adjuster or oil lines or drain since the belt drive is run dry. This eliminates the puddles of oil usually left with the OEM system and gives push button starting. There are, of course, other parts required. If you ever wish to go back to kick start only, then all components will unbolt so you can be "original" again.
